The 2016 Olympic Games will take place across 32 venues in Rio. There is a significant time difference between India and Brazil. The New Delhi is 08 hours 30 minutes ahead of Rio. When is the Opening Ceremony?

The Rio 2016 opening ceremony will be at the world famous football (soccer) Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on August 5, 2016.

When is the Closing Ceremony?

The Olympics will conclude with a closing ceremony on August 21, 2016.

Rio Olympic 2016 Venues

Venues of the 2016 Summer Rio Olympics will be located in four geographically segregated Olympic areas of Rio de Janeiro: Barra da Tijuca, Copacabana, Deodoro, and Maracanã.
